The Post Downtown Mesa
Home

The POST is a historic venue in downtown Mesa, Arizona. It was the first post office and federal building in the City of Mesa, when it had 6,000 residents. The building was constructed in 1936 in a Federal Moderne architecture style by architect Louis Simon. In 1959 the post office was expanded, and a two-story addition was constructed. The building was turned over to the US Forest Service and Fish & Wildlife Department. In 2002 the Federal government donated the building to Mesa. The City recently started renovating the building and construction will end in summer 2023.

The newly renovated structure will have over 5,000 square feet of event space that can be divided into two rooms and can be used for weddings, receptions, ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, quinceañeras, brunches, banquets, and other events. The POST is a versatile and flexible space. Bring your own caterer, decorator, and audio visual. The POST event staff is ready to make your event a success!
