My medium is torch fired, handmade glass. I use a torch to melt colored rods of glass into one-of-a-kind beads. Using the handmade, glass beads, I make earrings, necklaces, bracelets and accessories. Some of my new creations include charcuterie serving forks and knives adorned with glass beds, most are beach themed beads. Beach beads are my trademark since the beach is my happy place. Teaching glass beadmaking (lampworking) and jewelry making from my private studio is also a passion. Watching someone new to the craft light a torch for the first time or get excited to see their creations come out of the kiln, makes me smile! I love to teach beginners! They either have a great time and move on or go “glass” crazy! Either way, we always have fun. You can see why I love playing with fire!
