Natural Stone Art - My path to creating art with stone began with enthusiastic rock hounding. A combination of art study and hands-on apprenticeship with old-school lapidarists informs my work.

I create pendants, earrings, mountainscapes, carved pieces, polished specimens.  My designs are based on evocative images embedded in natural stone. I select rock, slab it, cut it, and then grind, buff, and polish it.   Pieces use minimal hardware. No distracting embellishments, artificial materials. No bling. My work is available at western arts festivals, my website, retail stores, and galleries.
