Have questions about the advantages of getting your business certified as a woman-owned or minority-owned business and want to understand what benefits a certification like that would afford you. Join the Idaho Women’s Business Center and SBA in this introductory workshop to learn:  

  • The “basics” of federal contracting and what you need to know to get started 
  • The difference between Women & Minority small business certifications 
  • How to determine if your business is eligible for these certifications  
  • Next steps to apply 

Meet your instructor:  

Irene Gonzalez is an Economic Development Specialist with the U.S. Small Business Administration Boise District who provides support to communities and businesses. She collaborates with community organizations, city, state and federal departments to outreach to the community to expand economic development, and bridge connection with businesses and the general public.
