2024 sign language workshops:
 
In a three basic hour workshop, participants will acquire enough knowledge to continue to independently learn sign language:
 
All handshapes (letters and numbers)
Basic phrases
Most importantly, rules of sign language
 
This workshop will occur twice in 2024 (second Tuesday in April and October; 4-7 pm) at local adaptive recreation program for people with disabilities ARISE Beyond Barriers. $20. donation will fund activities for people who have disabilities.

Calling all language enthusiasts and those curious about communication skills! Join us for an interactive and engaging Basic Sign Language Workshop presented by Cindy Powell, Disability Educator and Sign Language Instructor. 

This educational event aims to introduce participants to the basics of our nation's third most used language - sign language.
