Cripple Creek Ice Festival
Description
Join the Cripple Creek community for the return of the Cripple Creek Ice Festival! Join us to witness the carving of fantastic sculptures, live Carver vs Carver competitions, an ice slide, and more! The event will run Saturday, February 17th, through Sunday, February 25th, with the Ice Sculptures on display every day. Battle of the Blade competitions will take place each Saturday at 12:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. Food and Retail vendors will be open on February 17th, 18th, 19th (President's Day), 25th and 26th. This fun event makes for an icy memory, fantastic selfies, fun for the whole family, and memories you’ll never want to forget.

As always this event is free and open to the general public.  Carvers will be working throughout the event on their sculptures.  Activities, vendors, and head-to-head carving competitions will only take place on the weekends (Feb 17-19 and Feb 24&25) including President’s Day.  The vendor and activities will happen between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., weather permitting. Dress warm and enjoy this incredible event.   Please note that Bennett Avenue will be closed to vehicle AND PEDESTRIAN traffic on Feb 13th and 20th for ice delivery.
