Goal
The Hour of Code aims to show that anyone can learn the basics of computer science, and to inspire future interest in the field. 
Activities
The Hour of Code offers a variety of activities for learners of all skill levels, including tutorials and games. Some activities include creating a dance party, helping AI clean the oceans, and building and exploring with Minecraft. 
When and where
The Hour of Code takes place annually during Computer Science Education Week in early December. Events are typically hosted by K-12 institutions.

The Hour of Code was created in 2013 and has reached tens of millions of students in over 180 countries.
