Here's what this means for our fight to Protect Prop 13 and how you can help: The Good News: Moving the public vote from March to November 2024 gives us a bit more time to ramp up our campaign and allows us to consolidate our fight to protect Prop 13 by 1) defeating ACA-1 and ACA-13 while 2) passing the California Taxpayer Protection Initiative. All three of these ballot measures will be on the same ballot which is very efficient. The Bad News: Because it is the Presidential general election, the November 2024 voter turnout is going to be MUCH bigger than the March 2024 voter turnout which is just a primary. We're talking about now having to reach DOUBLE the number of voters – and that means our campaign budget will have to be even bigger to reach more voters.
