I am concerned because this would undoubtedly be a 5G tower. 5G is a double edged sword, with the risks outweighing the benefits. The Founders disliked democracies as they were a tyranny by majority. Whether Trump is guilty or not, many of us see where allowing local D.A.'s to indict the President for federal election misdeeds to be debilitating for our country. It allows local officials to effectively hold the Presidency hostage. No, this should remain a federal issue; handled on the federal level. It's true we don't like tyranny, but we do like our freedoms. It's why we disliked vaccination mandates, being banned from church services, being told to wear masks, told not to go into certain businesses, and having dissenting views kept off social media. I will leave the necessity of the rule of law with the following: illegal immigrants have topped 10,000/day on more than one occasion. (Don't fret. I did NOT get this from Fox News, so it must be legit.) I'm sure there are other people who realize that sending alternate electors has been done before in our history and is not illegal in and of itself. Additionally, pressuring to find votes is not illegal. Finding votes is different than making them up. Did you know what being a cry-baby over the outcomes of an election is also not a crime? If it were, Stacey Abrams and Hillary would both be facing indictments. Finally,I hope someone can help me understand the logic behind the following: If the danger to us all is corporations and capitalism, then who will make every decision for us regarding it? Who is left to make the decisions? Civics taught me that is not "democracy." Sincerely, Mark Green Reno, NV Jan, Hold onto your pocket book as on 10/1/23 the California Diesel tax will increase from .34 to .50; that is a 16 cent increase. Currently you pay .86 cent tax on gasoline and $1.05 on a gallon of diesel. While the gas tax won't be increasing this time the tax on a gallon of diesel will increase to $1.21.
