SIERRA COUNTY CENTRAL COMMITTEE MEETSThe Sierra County Republican Central Committee will hold its first meeting on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at the Sierraville School starting at 1:30 pm.We welcome all Republicans to attend this meeting as we start the work to prepare for the upcoming 2026 election. There will be many seats in the legislature opening up, including the Governor's race, and we want to start work immediately getting people registered to vote and identify which candidate(s) to support. The purpose of the Central Committee is to represent and support the Republican Party in Sierra County and in California; to work for the election of Republican candidates; and to publicize the positions of the Republican Party regarding County, State and National issues. Three of us on the Committee were able to attend the most recent California Republican Party Convention in Sacramento. We will be glad to give you the highlights of this organizational meeting when we meet in April.
